I think I know the answer to this but I am going to ask. In the Mississippi study were the deer from the three different regions kept in separate pens to make sure the effects were not due to a dilution of genetics?

Hey Bob, thanks for the kind words. I believe the deer at MSU were all in separate pens and breeding was definitely limited so that deer bread with individuals from their source population.
